Medical Bike Fit

Home » Medical Bike Fit
Being an avid cyclist, I have bought many bikes through the years. I know the frustration and difficulty that can be experienced trying to get your new bike set up so you feel comfortable and powerful while riding.
I have experienced this situation: We buy the new bike, enjoy cycling, and perhaps even had a bike fit done at one of the local bike shops, but do not feel comfortable. The reason for this is that although the bike fit may have set you up in the text-book position, your body (mobility and flexibility) does not fit the standard position. Through a medical assessment of your mobility and flexibility, we can look for limitations and create a plan to correct these-allowing you to not only be comfortable but also, produce the maximum power that you need to excel in your competition.
In addition, if we feel changes need to be made to your bike, we will work with your local bike shop to make the needed changes.

Things that may indicate that a Medical Bike FIt is needed for you are:

  • A general feeling of not being comfortable on your bike
  • Hand numbness
  • Neck or upper back pain during rides
  • Low back pain during rides or stiffness in your back when you get off your bike
  • Knee pain
  • Foot pain or numbness

Let us check you out! Feel comfortable and powerful on the bike! Inquire about getting a Medical Bike Fit.
